Libertà e fiducia.

Carlo Bimbi has successfully combined the significant and well-established materials of tradition in a completely new way, giving the product a distinctive touch and making it original, almost inimitable.
“I don’t exactly remember how I first came across Arketipo or when I started collaborating with them, but what I distinctly recall is that my colleague Andrea Piazzesi encouraged me to design armchairs and coffee tables. That’s how I embraced Arketipo’s approach.”
“During the peak boom of upholstery fabrics, we were looking for a product that went against the tide, one that had its own distinct image and was not subordinated to its covering.”
«Inspiration can be a legacy, and Triclinium inspires.»

Triclinium is a sofa that embodies the extraordinary philosophy behind Arketipo’s designs. It seamlessly blends materials and functionality, fully aware that a room is not just meant to be lived in but also admired.
The seats have variable depths, the entire structure is surrounded by wide shelves, and the choice of materials—such as marble for this “frame” or wood for the structure—creates a contrast between softness and solidity, without compromising seating comfort.

And if **Triclinium** represents the anti-classic, the other iconic design by Bimbi is the ultimate classic.
Accademia is a romantic vision that has drawn deeply from that trust and creative freedom.
Carlo Bimbi’s designs are precisely this: a stimulus that challenges natural emotions to convey something greater and more profound.
“I looked at the past and interpreted it with contemporary materials and the spirit of Italian rationalism.”
