We use our heritage to help guide us to a new age. An age of research and development, an age of instant approval, likes and shares. The ethos of Italian design & culture is released into these new environments; ones our clients across the world share.
Ours is a story that looks to make grand steps in shaping our ethos and worldview. Take our logo, an evolution that encapsulated the 70’s style which understood its place with sensuality and strong typography to a switch in the new millennium which saw how fashion shaped design in a multi-discipline way.
Our logo reflects that styling with one important note, Firenze in our title. It shows how we still look to our heritage for constantly pivoting to the new.
The word Arketipo has its roots in ancient Greece. It is the combination of the words ἀρχή (arkhē): beginning, origin and τύπος (tỳpos): sort, type.
Such a strong and ambitious name, perfectly highlighted from the very beginning what our mission would be: to transform ideas into unique and original items.
We are not the Big Mac of the furniture world. Uniform, mass manufactured and dull.
We are the gourmet burger experience. The essence between both burgers is the same; the difference is the execution. We study, we talk, we identify, we feel different things from the raw materials, what we get is something different, every single time. Where one sees a wood, metal and cloth, we see a craft, a desire to bring a pleasurable endeavour to the soul and delight for years to come.

Perfection is boring. We should be excited by the chase, not the goal, only then can you view the product with different eyes, another point of view. Perfection can then not exist in the real world, we can get close and that is satisfaction for me, but seeing the signs of a truly handmade design tells you a story greater than the final product ever will.
We are obsessed about details. The absence of detail is sometimes detail in itself, and there is no diktat to the process. It’s something you feel, you see, you breathe, you live.
