The Taiga fabric collection is a Jacquard orthogonal (perpendicular weave) fabric built on a warp of 4.800 threads: a combed spun viscose and linen thread twisted at both ends and a synthetic thread which gives strength to the fabric. The weft is made of a cotton thread and a very soft thread made of yard-dyed viscose and cotton chenille. The final result is an unusual chromatic effect obtained through the use of threads of different colours in the weave (this is more evident in darker colours). The chenille gives the fabric a soft touch but it is not visible, as it is part of the fabric structure.
